The reason for this letter is simply to clarify that the Organizing Committee of the second edition “Rally of Spain Historic” has nothing to do with the “Club Deportivo Shalymar Competición” former organizer of the Rally.

Today August 23rd. has been opened the registration period for the second edition of the “Rally of  Spain Historic”.  From this moment, those Teams wishing to participate in the Rally may conclude registration by filling out the bulletin board in our website.

Once completed the registration form, should be referred to the Organization via e-mail address  info@rallyofspain.com  accompanied by the appropriate proof of payment confirmation.

Upon completion of the process, will receive via e-mail the Road-Book of the Rally.

DEFINIDO EL RECORRIDO DE LA EDICIÓN -2010

Con un total de 513,90 Km. de recorrido total, y 161 Km. cronometrados, divididos en dos etapas que conforman un total de 10 tramos cronometrados, ha quedado definido el recorrido final del II Rally de España Histórico, que discurrirá por las carreteras de la sierra de Ávila.

The Organization has arrived to an agreement with  Hotel “Fontecruz Avila” and the Rally H.Q. will be stablished there.

Also  scrutineerings, the end of the first leg and the start of the second will be held in “Fontecruz Avila Hotel”

There are special prices for all participants who wants to stay at the Hotel.

As in the first edition of the Rally, Manolo Ortiz-Tallo and Carlos Rico will be the liasons between Participants and the Organization. Both of them have a large experience in Motor Sports, Manolo as the ownner of the Jolly Club Spain, one of the most succesfull teams in Spain during the last eightees and begining of the ninetees. Carlos was inside the pluri victorious Team Citroen with Jesus Puras in rallyes.
