Next October, the II Historic Rally of Spain will be held.  This test, which arose from the enthusiasm of a group of racing fans, seeks to recover the spirit of rallying from the golden days, with events that tested the hardness of the crews as well as the mechanical reliability.

In May 2009 took place the  Historic Rally of Spain, which along various roads, traveled for two days along the provinces of Madrid, Segovia and Avila. Following the successful participation of the first edition, the organizing committee has decided to repeat the experience, maintaining the format of the previous year in terms of event structure, but slightly increasing the percentage of Special Stages,  and increasing the weight that the night sector had in the event as a whole..

It will travel, as was done in the first edition, along the roads of the Madrid surrounding provinces, in the spirit of the legendary “Rally del Race”, which in the decades of the 60′s and 70′s, attracted the best of European racing drivers to our roads.

In 2010 the Real Federación Española de Automovilismo creates  the Copa de España de Rallys Históricos, in which calendar is included the II Historic Rally of Spain, in both disciplines, Regularity and Speed.
